ABOUT THE SERVICES
According to the legal regulations the hauler’s liability for entrusted load is limited. The liability may vary depending on the branch of transport and is the following: – in road transport 8,33 SDR /kg – in ocean freight 2 SDR /kg – in rail transport 17 SDR /kg As a result, should damage occur, the liability resulting from the legal regulations may be insufficient for the client to receive compensation for the total load value.
In some cases we recommend our clients to conclude a CARGO insurance agreement. This product is offered as an additional service to all our clients. The insurance makes it possible to cover the total value of transported goods i.e. cargo insurance of load under transport according to ICC „A” clause. Additionally, in ocean freight the insurance may cover war risks, according to Institute War Clauses (cargo)1.1.82.
